Louvre Staircase Print. I print these fine art photographs on Canson Infinity Baryta Photographique paper. Baryta Photographique offers the look and aesthetic of the original darkroom baryta print. It also complies with the ISO 9706 standard for maximum longevity.

Available Sizes

I print on A3 paper and mount the photograph within a 50cm x 40cm bevel edged off white mount. You can also have different sizes, different mount colours or different paper finishes, just contact me for a quotation.

Mounting

We always mount the prints on acid free mounting card with an acid free backing sheet. As a result, this should provide a print life of around 80 to 100 years under normal conditions. I use a 50 cm x 40cm mount for rectangular aspect photographs. However, I use a 40cm x 40cm mount for square aspect photographs.

Mount Details

I normally size the print to provide a border of approximately 50 – 60 mm around the photograph aperture. The bottom border is normally wider than the sides and will vary according to the dimensions of each photograph. We use Hayseed colour (off-white) with a black core. As a result, a black keyline is visible where the bevel edge is cut round the photograph aperture. The printed photograph will be sized to provide a white border approximately 7 mm wide around the photograph.

Environment

We recommend that you display your prints in a temperate environment, because extremes of temperature or humidity can cause buckling of the mount.

Canvas Prints
